Moment in time part 1

The sound of loud thunder hit, I heard it hit a tree that snapped  apart, I was terrified then against the window a big rainstorm, hit the roof so hard. In our house is Gracie,

Beth, Megan and Sophie we all were missing our Mums and Daddy’s in our hearts, but we were brave enough to go to sleep. In the morning, it was really sunny, but we look at the weather and there was another storm coming, but this time a wind, is coming as well tonight. We started building a better house with wood, nails, and a hammer it looks so good it looks like a new house our mum’s and daddy’s would be proud of us. So it started to rain and flood everywhere then came wind and thunder (I think that is the worst of it) but this storm and thunder did not hit our house, we were safe to celebrate we did a hi 5  yay we said, all together. We all went to sleep silently and then the storm was gone and it will never come back again!

Glamorous Grace

Hi my name is Grace but, some people call me Gracie. I am 9 years old  and my birthday is January the 15th. I am year 5 student that goes to St Francis of Assisi  primary school. My favourite sports are netball, hockey, gymnastics and athletics. My favourite hobbies or singing, drawing, musically, chromebook and going in to the pool to cool down. So what would be the best thing I have done this year? Well every year we go to Kaiterieri to water ski this one time I stood up I had seaweed stuck to my body and legs so I couldn’t drop a ski ha ha. So I tried again and this time I got up and one ski all the way!
