What is mindest you ask, well read my blog and you will know the answer.....

 Kia Ora

This week we had reading and it was about having a growth and a fixed mindest, I learnt using the word "I am not there YET." Actually works, it helped me be more positive and less negative. I think that if you try it you will have a growth not a fixed. Our task for reading we had a choice to choose from and it was you could find someone who showed grit and had a growth mindest to who challenges, or you could do a poster, a quote, video and more. You had to tell us about What is a mindest? And What is your biggest takeaway about mindest? I used a poster here is my creative poster about all the questions and what it means to me??

What did you learn from my poster??

Interesting persuasive writing W2 T3

Kia Ora

Today we have been working on persuasive writing and here is my writing that I have work on for a week, the goal was to Purpose of a persuasive text is to convince readers to believe in an idea or opinion. I hope you enjoy my writing it is about why students should be paid at school?? I definitely agree!!!

Students should be paid to go to school...Why…because I think this is a very serious matter and we don’t even have a say in what we think?

To be honest I hate it how we try so hard for 6 whole hours at school, and we don’t get rewarded, the things that we get told are supposed to be important, but this right here is important to us and how we work because, using my calculations, we would get paid $12 a week.

Motivate, Motivating students to go to school by bribing them with money. There could be some certain people that don't actually enjoy coming to school and knowing that they have money on the line could make them want to go to school more often. As teachers they want all of us to succeed and attempt school, so they can teach us more and more work that will help us in high school.

I also found a solution, if you have finished all your work to a great high standard at the end of the week like on a Thursday or Wednesday you can get paid more money. Just imagine how many families could be helped from you paying the students every week, because it would put less stress on families.

I think that you should definitely think about paying students for their families, money and health benefits. In conclusion, think about how much work and effort we put into our school work, we should be getting something back shouldn’t we?
