the creamy culture

Hi and welcome to my amazing Blog post
For project based learning this term we are foucusing on cultural stories.
First question - what is culture? It is your make up and it tells people who you are your values traditions and what you believe.
Second question - where do I come from?
I am part maori and part english becasue my mum is english, she was born in NZ and she is catholic girl. My dad is maori because his mum came from the Cook Island's, his dad was Maori so he is a Maori Cook Islander too.
Third question -  tradtion and values
In my tradition is we always celebrate easter, ANZAC day, birthday, waitangi day, and chirstmas day, we do that with our whanau/ family.
Fourth question - Values
As a family we respect each other and show love and kindness to all our family and we are respectful to other people.

my perfect punctaution

In my writing group this term we have been learning to do punctuation like speech marks and apostrophes. I wrote a story that was about meerkats, here is my story!

The Meerkats felt excited to eat the peach. They shouted, “Yum yum.” But they were afraid of a mean eagle, and the eagle saw the meerkats looking at the sweet, juicy and yummy fruit. So the eagle grabbed the fruit and flew away, the leader meerkat said, “Attack the evil eagle go go!” So the meerkats started running as fast as a cheater,  then one of the meerkats jumped on the eagle’s tail and grabbed the peach but then it fell out of the eagle’s claws and it went up and up then it fell on the ground it was squishy with the juice all over the ground they felt so so sad and angry at the eagle. The end!

what is your favoutie punctaution?
